Four years ago, after attending many women’s retreats over the years, we decided to develop our own. Last year, forty-six women traveled to The Life Enrichment Retreat Center in Leesburg for “Faith in the Midst of Our Laundry Pile.”   We focused on finding faith and joy even in the ordinary everyday, often sometimes overwhelming, circumstances.  This year, our retreat will focus on prayer and ways to develop a deeper, more intimate relationship with our Father.

We will be traveling to DaySpring Conference Center in Ellenton, two miles from the Outlet Mall DaySpring is located on the banks of the Manatee River and offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience peace and tranquility, stunning natural beauty and a sacred place where spirits are renewed, refreshed and made ready to re-enter the world.  For more information on this retreat center go to www.dayspringfla.org.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to rekindle old friendships and make new friends as we explore this heartbeat of our faith through study, drama, readings, small groups, music, crafts and much more.  Did I mention how much FUN this is going to be?

Registration is largely completed - if you would still like to attend or if you have any questions, please contact Jayne Lauve by calling the church office.
