The Journey Youth Group wants you to join in the fun. There are always things happening with the youth of Calvary. Whether it is worship, a service project or just flat out fun, Journey seeks to connect young people with God and each other.

Activities for JOURNEY!
(NO High School small groups for December...Advent Services instead 12/7 & 12/14 @7pm)

Journey Activities for High School AND Middle School students:

December 4th- Journey Service at Church 5-7pm. Come for fun, food, and fellowship.
December 7th- Advent Service at church 7pm (High School Small Groups right after)
December 11th- Journey Christmas Party 12-2pm and Christmas Caroling directly following the party 3-8pm.
December 14th- Advent Service at Church at 7pm. (High School small group right after)
December 18th- Youth Breakfast at Church 8am-11am. This is a National Youth Gathering fundraiser so EVERYONE is expected to be there.

***December 18th will also be the LAST time we meet until after the first of the year. Have a blessed CHRISTmas and a safe new year. B e ready to come back in 2012 ready to ROCK. It will be National Youth Gathering YEARRR...lots of great and exciting things planned.***

Mission project - our Journey sponsorted compassion child:
Compassion is an outreach program that the youth are in charge of which is dedicated to supporting and sponsoring a child. Our compassion child's name is Mayanja Junior Allan (we just call him Allan) and he is from Uganda and he is 15. The Journey has been a part of Allan's life for over a year now and we continue to support him by sending letters and monetary gifts. This is an outreach program that the youth have a lot of "Compassion" for and hope to keep going for many years. Allan is able to use the money we send for cloths, socks, shoes and food, and to help him with any items he might need for school.
