The Journey meets every other Sunday in the fellowship hall from 5pm-7pm. Middle School and High School students come and join us for a time of fun, food(bring a couple of bucks), high energy worship time, and biblical truth. What is “The Journey”?

We are all on some type of journey in our lives. The Journey that we ask students to join us in is developing a real and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ by learning how to love God, love people, and serve one another.

• Sunday Nights from 5-7pm.-Middle school and High school students meet every other Sunday night in the fellowship hall at Calvary Lutheran Church.
• Games- Foosball, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Wii sports.
• Food- Bring a couple of dollars with you to enjoy chicken nuggets, bagel bites, chips, soda and candy.
• Worship Band- Live worship band which includes electric guitars, bass, and drums.
• Relevant Biblical teaching- Teaching from God’s word and how it applies to the lives of students in today’s world.
• Small Group discussion time- We break out into age and gender specific small groups with an adult leader after the teaching to further discuss the message.
• Building relationships with other students and leaders- This is a great time to hang out with other students from the area to get to know each other and also to get to know the caring adult leaders from “The Journey”.
• Leadership opportunities- Get involved in a variety of leadership roles which include the worship band, singing, making videos, running power point, serving in the café.
• Service projects- We will be serving in the church and in the community on a regular and on going basis.
• Retreats — times and events TBA.
• Camps —dates and places TBA.
